Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and a new Famicom Detective Club are just two of the planned titles that will keep the Nintendo Switch alive as it approaches its final years. But more and more focus is being placed on its replacement, the so-called Switch 2.

A report from an analyst at Toyo Securities suggests that the new console would be available in the first half of 2025. This rumor supports earlier reports from GamesIndustry that indicated a launch will take place in the upcoming fiscal year. According to a combination of these reports, the console may be released in 2025 between April and June.

Although no official information has been released, it is speculated that the Switch 2 will cost less than $500. This suggests a target price below $500 but does not definitely imply that it will be priced at $499.
