We have not heard anything from Bend Studio since Days Gone (2019). Although we've frequently wished for a zombie game sequel, it appears like they're taking a different approach.

A recent leak may have provided a lot more information about the new game that Bend Studio has reportedly been working on for the past five years.

Pictures of what looks to be Bend Studios' upcoming game have appeared online.

It appears that the game will be an open-world third-person shooter with a military theme, utilizing gameplay elements from the Days Gone universe. A live service game would be the project.

It's crucial to note the source of the video: these screenshots are taken from the portfolio of a user interface designer who was employed by Bend Studios from 2022 to March. The video may have been shot around 2022 or 2023.

Based on the screenshots, it appears that the method is clear. Guns, rifles, XP systems, wardrobes to store them, and even green and blue spots that appear to be the game's cover positions are all visible.

Additionally, even though it may not be, it reminds me of Syphon Filter. However, we can't help but draw the analogy in our minds when we encounter allusions to nanomachines in the user interface.

Whatever it is, we’ll keep an eye out for more to come. Tonight's 2024 Game Awards and the fictitious State of Play in early 2025!

Keep an eye out!
